Welcome to the Center for Sustainable Enterprise Development (CSED) at the University of Minnesota. Approved in July 2008, CSED provides an interdisciplinary home for research, education, and outreach activities addressing the interface between business, nongovernmental organizations, and government as they work toward harnessing the ingenuity of commercial enterprise for positive social and environmental change. 

Beginning July 2009, CSED will largely operate under the Initiative for Sustainable Enterprise (iSE) within the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota.
